My veg plot has been flattened by some nocturnal beasty! Despite all the netting, something has clearly had a good roll about all over the parsnip, carrot seedlings (all two of them), broad beans, leeks... stems snapped, leaves crushed and ruined.

    I'm pretty annoyed!

I sympathise. Every year the local badgers or squirrels get my carrots at the stage just before I pull them. This year they trashed the gooseberry bushes and got most of the fruit. Then this weekend they started into the raspberries.

Do you think installing automated gun emplacements would be a tad OTT?

Not OTT just might be a few problems with the neighbours.

Oh that's a right pain. It sounds like foxes, they sometimes visit my garden for a roll around on the onion patch. So far this year the only thing I've noticed them doing is biting some of my plant labels and pulling them up and moving them around, I assume they are playing with them - it's a real nuisance as I can't remember where I planted those winter aconites and will probably dig them up accidentally.

A Melinda style roof mounted flame thrower should do the trick.

          #@?!!!£$%~!!

This morning something overnight has fished out the entire lily from the pond and savaged it over the lawn! WTF is going on?! That pond is a few feet deep and why would anything want to bust up a lily?

This is intriguing ,you're going to have to stay up tonight and find out what it is:thumbsup:...

We installed some cameras in our garden (after a burglary attempt) but they've come in handy since to find out why things were getting moved around in the garden and the fish going missing..makes for good viewing:blue thumb:

          Sorry about the veg BTW..

Sounds like a young fox. They are as playful as puppies and will trash everything.

I've always fancied setting up cameras in the garden... It does sound like a fox and I had a poke around the depths, just in case it had drowned.
All this savagery in the garden!
