fairly big plugs!! I've had a lot of stuff arriving like that recently - bung them in a pot and water well, and they'll do fine, Rosie!!

Weel they look healthy, bit of a price, but I would still prefer to go to nursery and see what I was getting.

    Do you nip tops out?

I did look around quite a lot last autumn for chrysanths with no luck so in desperation when the glossy catalogue arrived I sent and paid for these last October.. ah well you live and learn shan't do send away again..always bought my sweet peas from them but then I lived in Cambridge they were just down the road, They are soaking right now and i will be very careful where I put them all I need is an expensive slugs meal... :D :D

I think they look fine, I would pot them on nip the top off so they bush out then when they have established plant them out.

I think I may have lost a few of my chrysanths this year, I love them for late colour.

You wont find chrysanth cuttings available in autumn rosie, its always about now, as they are grown from plants that have been overwintered, and taken this year.
Named varieties of most plants usually come at a price. You'll be able to propagate your own next year. ;) :D

I bought my first mail order plants last autumn, those frilly pansies "Tu-tu", and they were successful, I'd do it again.

I bought some F1 geraniums this spring as they were the same price as a packet of seeds, I've just planted them out.
