Art Gallery

New section:- "Members' Art Gallery"

Pictures, paintings, sculptures, digital art/photos, craft work, Pal's stained glass etc. Comments made directly on the same thread. Pictures need to be seen, artists need feed back. If Dag or anyone else want to keep their stuff separate in their own galleries - fine. They can in sub-galleries

This could be a good and exciting project for the winter months when our gardening photos and discussion will decrease sharply. C'mon Nat - pretty please - can we have an Art Gallery section? Go on - you know it makes sense

 

I certainly agree that there should be an Art Gallery where everyone can add their little bit of creativity.

However, I also see no reason why individuals shouldn't have their own threads so that everything is in one section rather like Pete, Banana Man, myself and others have in the Members Gallery portaying our gardens with regular updates of new plants, designs, development and so forth.

I must admit too that I find it easier commenting on something immediately following it rather than going elsewhere to make a comment.

It is disconcerting sometimes when things get carried away with chatter completely unrelated to the original subject although this is fine in the light-hearted threads.

But, unfortunately, that's life and I have to slap my hands at times for being guilty of wandering myself! me!!! :rolleyes:

 

Yes - that's right.. A general Art section for everyone and then specific galleries for those that want one. I'm hanging fire until something emerges.
