This plant (weed) is coming up everywhere in my garden. It gives me the creeps for some reason and I have made it my mission to eradicate it. I don't even know why I don't like it - maybe I have memories retained from another life ???
Does anyone else have plants they don't like without knowing why?

If you want rid of your Arum Italicum, Alana, send it to me - I love them and can't seem to find any to buy, apart from dubious dried looking roots in one garden centre.

I have the ideal locations for them - damp, dappled shade.

Well shame on me for divulging this But I am not very fond of Sea Holly (Eryngium) probably because my neighbour,s front garden is completely covered by it and she is totally obsessed by this plant,we often have a private joke about it over a cup of Sea Holly Tonic Tea as she isn't very fond of my Roses:hehe::)

Despite its pretty blue flowers and shiny leaves, I cannot stand periwinkle (Vinca major). Some foolhardy person or other must have planted a sprig in my garden a long time ago and now I cannot get rid of it. I was chatting recently to someone who had bought a potful from a garden centre. If anyone out there is planning to do the same, I would think it through very carefully first. If you still feel it's a good idea, contact me for as many free plants as you desire. I can guarantee that, whatever else fails in your garden, periwinkle will always be with you.

Weigelia, Chrysanthemums, Snowberry, Hybrid T roses. Forsythia and Flowering current... but only when grown next to each other... Those sycamores with pink leaves.. and packets of seeds in mixed colours... there's always pink AND orange!

    I could go on!

Apart from the obvious noxious weeds I dont think I can think of any plants I hate, I can even see why Jap knot weed was introduced, not many plants are so impressive in our climate.

    Hindsight is a wonderful thing.:D

If I was pushed I'd have to say something like those perennial geraniums, that seen to just survive and never look spectacular. .

Well, how about this one then? It G. 'Summer Skies'. A bit more genteel than gaudy old psilostemon, but still not dull. Makes a lovely splash of colour in my garden for ages.

That's the joy of gardening - we all have our likes and dislikes and we all do our own thing!
