Wow, that's an impressive size! I'm on the lookout for ornamental trees and Salix was on my look out for list. Might have to nip over to my local Asda and see if they've got any there. Thanks @HarryS.

In the photo just behind the Salix on the right hand side is a standard Olive tree . Also bought from Asda 2 years ago for £20 . Like most supermarkets they seem to get a couple of large pallet boxes full of these offer trees , and when they are gone they are gone.

Hello @HarryS :) I can't remember how much my Salix was (bought over a year ago now), but I wouldn't have paid a lot for it. :heehee: (Garden Centre).
The thing is with a Salix, is that it has to be watered regularly. I was pouring nearly a whole watering can into the pot almost every night in the summer. If you don't keep on top of it, the leaves start to dry at the tips and it looks pretty poorly very quickly.
Thats my view on them anyway. I would rather an expert came on and agreed or disgreed though :)
This is a pic of mine tonight. It is just starting to turn creamy :)

 Mine is about 6ft from bottom of pot to top of tree, so I need some advice on mine soon. I may need a bigger pot/trim. They are nice little trees, I hope your does well :blue thumb:
