    I’ve brought some aster seeds . Woukd it be okay to plant them now to bloom in June/ September? They’re the ostrich seeds variety aster . Thanks

    Usually you would sow these under glass in April, plant out in late May/ early June to flower later in the summer.
    As far as I know they are not hardy.

      Thankyou Pete . I was hoping they were like foxgloves, Hollyhocks, Delphiniums etc where you can plant them now and have blooms in June . I’ll wait till April

      Not really they would probably come under the heading of Half Hardy Annual, (HHA), whereas Foxgloves would be considered as Hardy Biennial (HB)

      It usually says on the packets when to sow and rough guide how to go about it.
