Can anyone help? I am having problems attaching files to my emails. I click on the attachment button but nothing happens. I have switched off my computer and switched back on which I find can sometimes correct gremlins but not this time. Any suggestions?

What email program are you using Celia?

If it's Outlook or Outlook Express, if the button doesn't work you could try going to the INSERT menu and choosing File Attachment

Thanks Dave, but I use BT Yahoo. I keep getting a message saying I have a script error, none of the tabs on the tool bar appear very useful either.

Got it sorted thanks Eldest downloaded the new Yahoo beta and it seems to work.

Glad to hear you've got it fixed.
I use BT Yahoo too, but I access my mail accounts through Outlook Express as it is an easier, cleaner way to do it. It would also allow you to set up "mail archive" folders to store your different categories of received mail.
It might be worth thinking about pursuading/bribing "eldest" to set that up for you. It's not difficult.
    Just a thought.

Thanks Dave, I tried using Outlook when we first got the internet but had no end of problems trying to access our emails, so Yahoo seemed a Godsend when we started with them. I'm just glad that it is working properly again. Eldest thinks that it may have been due to the fact I kept ignoring the Java update reminder and didn't install it so the computer threw a hissy fit! I have since installed it!

I use Mozilla Thunderbird, you can train it to junk the spam. I need this as some of my email boxes are widely advertised so do attract hundreds of spam emails (I've had over 90 junked at download stage from one box).
