So I know I'm not great at getting round to posting here too often (except to leech tips!) but I just wanted to shout about the fact I've managed to nurse a few little Aubergines into being from the sub-tropical windowsills of Kent! :dancy: Well chuffed!

Couldn't have done it without all the lurking around and advice on here! 3 summers ago I'd never grown anything edible! There's still 1 more weeny one just bursting out, don't know if it'll get to any decent size before it gets too cold though.

Congratulations! Aubergines can be fussy but have certainly enjoyed this hot(ish) summer. Ours have also avoided being covered in red spider mite which have caused us problems in previous years. Don't know why, we haven't taken any special precautions.

The round stripy ones are outside against a south facing wall, the long purple ones are in the greenhouse.
