One of my 3 aubergine plants is getting a flowering head on it... does this mean it will grow an aubergine or is it not guaranteed? Anything I can do to help it?!

It will almost certainly become an aubergine. Feed it and talk to it nicely. :)

If you're already using tomato feed on other plants then that will be good enough for the aubergine.

What can I say about aubergines Snowbaby.
To get aubergines you first have to get flowers.
But just because you have masses of flowers doesn't mean you will ever see an aubergine.
Tried them for years and got nothing but flowers.
Got 2 whopping big aubergines last year but that's a poor return for the work and space. I'm not growing them anymore.

To give yours their best chance
They need a consistent 15 degrees overnight to set fruit
    Mist the flowers over daily
Pray for sunshine - they like it hot, hot, hot - and give them some damp to go with it.
If you get aubergines take pics - you'll be one of the lucky few.
Good luck and keep us posted.
