I'm having trouble getting aubretia seeds to germinate. Twice I have tried in the greenhouse and they have not germinated possibly because its too cold. Iam going to try them indoors on damp paper but I have never done it this way before. How is it done and how is the paper kept moist without disturbing the seeds.

I sometimes do this too. Its easy just soak the seeds in water for a few hours then place them in a folded damp towel in a dark cool place. Within a few days the seeds should sprout little tap roots then you can transplant into soil with the tap root facing down :blue thumb:
some people like to wedge the seeds inbetween something vertical so all the tap roots grow down but i dont think thats essential myself.
