We may be spending elongated periods of time away from the house..

So looking at these automatic irrigation timers that set the hose going for given periods of time. We have great neighbours but one of these installations would be far better and saves us keeping asking .

This one made by Hozelock looks pretty good and we have seen one in the garden center. But thought it worth asking before we buy.

    Or there is this one.

Or of course if anyone has suggestions they will be greatly appreciated !

    Thanks !

Well it's all instead now with pipes snaking around the borders over the pots and into the green house. It's set on the timer to water twice a day. Once at 5.15 in the morning then again 12 hours later at 5.15 in the afternoon.

just a hint best to do any watering from 9pm to 5am as the plants take it up and less is wasted to evaporation

Thanks.. But the time is set at the same time we water on a daily basis. So set the timer to that. We are blessed with awesome soil here in the Vale of Evesham and everything grows like the proverbial burning bush.

The timer opened the valve bang on the button and closed it the same. So first test went fine .. :dbgrtmb:
