Automatic presserve maker?

This year i had allot of red currents on my bush and decided to make jam, which i have never done before and it went OK except i couldn't get any of the jam i tested to set! (i thought currants had loads of pectin?) so i tried to add lemon juice but it still didnt work so in the end i had to reach for the gelatin:D i do hope it sets!:( but i suppose if not it will make excellent pancake sauce so my question is can you get machines to do this for you? you know like bread makers but for jam...lol

Looks interesting Dizi though if I buy one more gadget for the kitchen I think my husband will kick me out!! lol

I also really don't mind the stirring of jams. It's only marmalade that takes forever.

 

My bread maker (£25 from Argos) makes jam I'm yet to try it, but it gives you the instructions etc so it should work out pretty well.
