    Hi Rich

    I grew an Alocasia (elephants ears) this year too, have you removed any offsets from the bottom of it?

    I bought the EE bulb last year and left it in the ground over winter, as you can see it's doing fine and spreading, I'll just leave it there until it outgrows its position.

    I call it the wierd bed because it has things in it that shouldn't grow there, 2 olianders, camelia, heathers, pieris, etc. Stuff that I've grown in containers and wanted to get them out of the way.
