    :) My first time with this plant,given by a friend.............am hoping they will multiply for next year.

    That is Sternbergia lutea surely?

    :thumb: Those are lovely roders.. I have got some of these ones, Colchicum autumnale sometimes called Autumn crocus, meadow saffron or naked ladies. These come from the Lily family.
    I will find a pic as mine aren't out yet, but they are the pink ones & i sneaked them home from my couzins place in CA...!:dh::D

    You are welcome Roders. We have them in the garden, but they rarely flower so you are lucky to see them. For anyone thinking of buying them from a Garden centre, be warned, the bulbs dry out and die and rarely even grow. If you can find them actually growing then that is the best way to buy them.

    Roders lovely I only have the purple Autumn crocus which I got out of my Mil garden many yrs ago maybe we should do a swap as the two colours would compliment each other.
