    Hi,

When do they go on sale at garden centres?
I'd rather buy them off the shelf than through online companies.

    thanks

Bulbs to plant in autumn are usually in the shops etc. by the beginning of September so start looking in the middle of August!
Bulbs for autumn flowering are normally planted in Spring so that is when they begin to appear on the shelves. Actually form mid winter onwards.
