Average Temp For Greenhouse

    Hello,
    Can anyone inform myself what is the ideal temperature for my greenhouse.I have just purchased with auto-vent.I have planted some plug plants today and need advise.Is it best to water later on in evening.I do have a gas heater installed.Cheers.

    What are you growing? Different plants like different temps.

    Its best to water first thing in the morning. If you do it during the day the heat from the sun can scorch your plants, if you do it in the evening the humidity may be too high and encourage fungal diseases.

    The plants in it at the moment are surfinas,impatients these are plug plants received from gardening direct.I have also marigolds and begonias to come any day.

    These are outdoor bedding plants, so its best to keep an even cool temp and avoid fluctuations. During the day I'd aim to keep it below 20 dec C and not let it get below 10 deg at night.
