Azalea, Dwarf Double

    I bought two of these beauties in February and March ...

    So I was surprised to see one buddiing (lots) and starting to bloom this morning in our mid 30s weather.

      Does seem an odd time of year for them to be flowering.
      Probably best kept in total shade I would think.

        They are in almost full shade under the red standard Hibiscus behind the Gardenia ...

        They get no direct sun.

        I have read some of these new breed dwarf doubles can bloom almost all year.
