Azalea inside or outside?

    hi i brought a azalea from morrisons today and its coming on quite nicely. Was just wondering as it said on pot evergreen should i leave it inside on a sunny windowsill or shall i put outside im by the sea at the moment so its quite windy and i cant take it to my garden till Sat can anyone give me any advice to where to keep it thankyou

    while its so cold try and find some middle ground, ie sheltered but not too warm as this ma cause somesort floppy growth (its not in flower is it)
    However you could treat it like a house plant this spring put in a coolish bright spot in the house and plant out after flowering.

    So, if you want in the garden this spring...somewhere sheltered for now.
    or treat like a house plant for a while and plant out in summer.

    If you put it outside then yes, somewhere sheltered, like next to the house/a wall.

    If you want to keep it indoors put it in the coolest place possible with filtered sunlight and only water with rain water, not from the tap.
    If outdoors, follow the above advice from theplantman and Hartley.:)
