image.jpg image.jpg Hi, I have a problem with 2 of my azaleas, 1 is in a pot & 1 in the ground but they have developed a problem on some of the leaves! They have swollen up into a hard ball? Any ideas what this could be please?

Hi Archiesnanna...It's called Azalea Gall,it's a fungus,it won't kill your plant but does make it look unsightly.I have it on one of my azaleas and I just pick the galls off.

Thanks Lolimac, glad to know it at least won't kill my azaleas as I have quite a few & a lovely Rhodedendron I have been picking them off as I see them & now I know more about it I will ensure I get them early & dispose of them properly to hopefully stop any more plants being affected!
Many thanks for your help & the helpful link!
