Just noticed yesterday we have loads of tiny baby frogs.
    They are everywhere.

Look after them Lyn and they will look after your garden.
I keep finding myself saying sorry to them when I disturb them while weeding. They seem to like laying in wait under the parsnips at the moment

Hi Lyn, I haven't seen any baby frogs yet but the full grown frogs make me jump out of my skin when I am weeding and they decide to jump out of their frog house :hehe:

They are starting to leave the pond, and are everywhere.
I'm scared I might tread on them.
They are on the patio and in the garden among the plants under the rockery and pots.
If they survive I will be slug free next year.
But the birds seem to be taking a very close look at them.
Do the birds eat them ?

    yes they do
i was wondering why the blackbird was going to the pond so often one day
for a drink! no it was picking up tadpoles that had gathered in the shallows
only a few of the thousands survive to become adults
hedgehogs will take young frogs too

i love frogs, defo good to have around (slug killers)
