Don't know if this is in the right place or not, can anyone give me any tips on how to get rid of Badgers. Yeah I know but I don't have a gun, any other ideas.

    cheers

    I've had this problem!

Spread Jeyes Fluid around... they hate the smell... but it makes the garden smell horrid!

    An electric fence?

They come in when the fields dry out and the ground goes solid, so I did think putting the sprinkler on a less important bit of grass, to make that place easier to grub arround in.

My garden centre sells some 'stuff' called 'Wild Animal Repellent' - you mix it with hot(ish) water, allow it to cool and then pour or spray it liberally around the area the animals use. It's pet and crop safe and doesn't harm the wildlife but deters them by the scent it leaves. I've used it very effectively against foxes and deer and whatever smell it leaves is undetectable to humans. The only caveat is that it doesn't specifically state it deters badgers, but it's got to be worth a try.

Have a look at this: http://www.cornwallbadgergroup.org.uk/damage.htm for further suggestions.

You could always feed them so they have no need to dig up the garden. Then sit back and enjoy. Perhaps even charge for visitors to watch.

Jeyes fluid is a waste of time.

electric fencing is the only way and its not as expensive as you might think.
