Can anyone confirm how tall Fargesia Rufa bamboo will grow?

I bought 9 plants to for use as hedging/screening. The nursery website stated they would grow to a maximum of 3.5 meters tall which would be ideal for my intended use. However when they arrived the suppliers label states they will grow to 1.5 - 2m tall which is no use for me. I contacted the nursery and they said the label is a generic label the supplier uses (although seems very specific to me) and that they will grow 3 m tall. NHS website says 3m tall but after searching around the internet I see a number of people who have planted it saying 1.5 - 2m.

    Cheers
    Mike

It won't grow that big. I'm with Verdun on this one. Go with Robusta.

I bought Rufa bamboo as a clump forming dwarf variety 5 years ago. It has never reached a metre tall and does not spread , perfect for the location I have by my pebble pool .:blue thumb:

Ok glad I made the decision to send it back. 20 Robusta plants just arrived in the post so I have a little planting to do as I've decided to do 2 hedges with this.

              I have a 10 year old rufa.
It does get slightly taller year by year. But I would say it's prob around 2 meters max.
