Bamboo in pots

    Does anyone have any experience with growing bamboo in pots with regards to how tall it can grow? I'm looking to use bamboo in pots as a screen but I need to be able to grow and maintain a really tall variety.

      Ive a couple of yellow grove bamboos in large plastic pots that are about 16-18ft ish high .

        Hi @Greybelle The only problem I can see is they may get pot bound depends on the variety and will take a while,But I many friends who grow Bamboo in containers and they are anything from 6/8/10 feet high,even the Bamboo in B and q's are all in pots are at least 6 feet tall:smile:

          All of mine are in pots, golden, nigra, arrow and a bush type.

          All doing well as I feed with soluble feed... A few are near 3m tall.
