A friend was given 2 small bamboo shoots in a heart shaped pot, to be covered in small stones and given a small amount of water every day. unfortunately i was given the task of looking after it while he was away and i am concerned i may have killed it! both stems are quite brown and dry and i am unsure now what to do for the best. Can someone please give me some advice? I have 6 days to either breathe life back into it or find a replacement!

There doesn't sound much hope if all the stem is brown- I'd go for replacement! I don't think they'd revive in 6 days anyway. :(

    (p. S. used to live in Hemel until end of Sept! Been to all these a lot!) wouldn't bother about Wyvales, though - they're not as good.)

You may even get a pat on the back if the replacement is a little larger. You will have to put it in the original pot though, of course your secret will be safe here.
