have you been watering it too much??? Could it be rotting? Is it outside? I know Bananas like lots of water, but the combination of wet and cold could do untold damage (and we did have some VERY cold nights last week - I took mine inside and I'm down south!!!)
Also, have you fed it at all? A good dose of chicken poo does wonders.

hi Daz and Debs, is this your first leaf this year. if it is dont worry about it, mine too were like that but now picking up fast. your tree is not dying, have a look inside the middle of the leaf and if you can see a little green stump it is producing another leaf. the winds dont help ,mine took a real battering and ripped the leaves to shreds. dont cut the leaves off the must die naturally, if you prematureally cut them you are cutting all the nourishment that feeds the trunk of the plant. hope this will help. that leaf is not open properly so give it time.

Daz what is the recent history of this nana. It should be fine TBH, just give it time. It could be over watering just be patient for now. I had a similar problem with my siki, but I chopped him back and now he is shooting up like a NY junkie. Don't chop him back yet I think with some heat he will perk up.
