Banana/Torpedo shallots

    Am I right in assuming shallot is an incorrect description and they are in fact "Long Red Florence" onions?

    I sincerely hope so cos that's what I've sown!

    Nope. You are wrong. The Long Red Florence is an onion not a shallot. But don't worry. It is a GREAT onion. Just enjoy.
