    Its a different world!

sorry my $$$$$$ are going, I just wonder how much it adds to your plot?

On the one hand it could scare people off having to look after it all, but then it does transport you, then loads of plants are transportable in pots.

which ever way its a very different English country Garden!

did I say garden, probably meant obsession in the kindest possible way - cos thats what we are!

Now your're showing off, Banana Man, and how jealous am I ??? I can't wait till t'other half gets out of the bath so I can show him this luxuriant, idyllic hideaway!

Essex .. a lot of rain? moisture? certainly hard work and TLC. I'm gobsmacked and in total awe!

What are the tall grasses as t'other half is into bamboos and tall grass-like things?

Good photo of the Passiflora - is it in the competition .. to compete with me?

    ... more than impressed ...

PS Do you "open the garden" for viewing and cream teas ... I'm in England briefly in October?

Cheers LoL, not a lot of rain but being on clay retains a good deal of water. But certain plants get a watering cans worth everyday. The grasses are Miscanthus sinensis'Zebrinus' and Miscanthus sacchariflorus (tallest one) I get a really good crop of canes each year. It is alot of hard work but it never feels like it.
[IMG] I have several rooms in the garden from the raised private deck area at the end of the garden through the private lawned seating area under the catalpa through along the central path into the 'clearing' and then under the bananas to the main patio deck accessed via the lounge. There is also a path to the dog yard...here...

And if you have already entered a pasion flower I will leave it in this thread only.

I have been asked before as our village does a garden walk open day thingy, but I find it a bit embarrasing. Also the garden is quite personal too me and has been a refuge from some pretty stressful times and I wouldn't want to share my foliage womb.

No, I haven't entered a passion flower ... an Abutilon, a Bird of Paradise and a Pomegranate..

    ... go for it!

Still impressed, as is t'other half who has now viewed this paradise.

Muita bonita, muita linda .... acima de palavras ...

(very pretty, very beautiful ... beyond words)
