    Nice find walnut, interesting reading what other growers do. Wouldn't fancy digging mine up every year. The root balls seemed far smaller than the basjoos I grow. Couldn't help drool over all those pseudostems, such potential growing energy laying dormant till next year.

    It would be interesting to know how effective that method would be in the UK.
    Given our damp winters, and much cooler less humid summers, I somehow think that initial growth in spring could be very slow to start, but as I say its interesting. [​IMG]
