Bargain seeds at Poundland

    If you have a Poundland store near you its really worth having a look at their seed selections - up to 8 varieties of veg or flower seed at £1 - Of course they will be standard varieties but a good and inexpensive starting point for the new gardener on a budget.

      Excellent value indeed!
      I've got King Edward potatos growing in pots, Red Barron Onions now well on in troughs in the polytunnel, Golden Gourmet shallots planted. We are eating cress from one of the 5 packs and Moneymaker tomatos are just pricked out.
      One thing I'm not sure about is that the photo of Market More cucumbers on the pack didn't look like the ridge type of Market More that I usually grow.
