    Hi,

I have a bag pf bark chipping left by the previous house owner.

    How can I use this?

Is it safe to spread on our bedding before planting and also does it have an expiry date?

    thanks

No expiry date it will just decompose in the bag. Its usually used as a mulch so you can place it around your bedding after you've planted stuff. It blocks light from weeds and decomposes into the soil to make it a nice thing for worms to bring down and add circulation to your bedding. All good :D

Only problem with bark chippings Gardenlearner is that it's really very hard to see cat poop in it...... not nice if you garden on your knees! Hel.xxx.
