Thinking of using Bark Screening rolls to cover an unsightly chain link fence, anyone know the approx life span of such things, because I assume they will rot eventually?

    Thanks,
    Roy.

Don't know about the bark, but we had Willow screening at our last house and it was easily 6 or 7 years old when we left. It was quite versatile too as it was happy to be stained/painted to match the garden.

Any part in contact with the soil will rot over a couple of years. It depends on how robust the bark is for the rest of it; I'd put the screening in place as a temporary measure while you grow something in front of it to replace the screen once it falls apart.
