Bark screening.

Hi everyone, So I ordered 8ft of 1.8 m bark screening to put alongside my horrid chain link 4 foot fence that runs along the side of my back garden.

Only problem is they have sent 2m high instead.

I needed 1.8m so it will correspond with the surrounding fences.

Where the chain link fence is is a little dip in front probably about 4-5 cm so I thought I could did it slightly deeper and use this screening rather than wait for it to be returned etc as I have been waiting ages as it is and really want to get it done. Alternatively, I could cut the tops off ?

Any thoughts.

 

dig a trench and bury the bottom 200mm?
