    Hi.
    Mount olive basic school
    C/o Joan Parkinson
    John hall post office
    St james
    Jamaica W1.

    Witkoppen School
    c/o Mr. Makama
    P O BOX 67008
    Bryanston 2021
    Rep of South Africa.

These are two basic schools run on little funds that really do need any spare seeds you may have.
They can then learn to grow some of there own food and learn a little agriculture.
Just a thought for anyone who may think it a good idea and want to help some kids out.

Many thanks for taking the time to read this.

we sometimes have seed swaps at my horticulture class, so i reckon people would give some spares to be sent off.

is there anything in particular that would be good?

I think any would be good, the kids there get excited at most things we take for granted.
So anything would be a nice surprise for them.
I guess things that can withstand a fair bit of sun.

I'll have to have a look through what I've got - I'm sure we should be able to get a good selection to send between us.

I think it a good idea to help children when it comes to gardening, but may I give a word of warning. Check that it is legal to send seeds to these countries. Many countries have laws governing the import of foreign seeds and plant material. David.
