Batten down the hatches again

Here we go again! The wind bending the trees into 40 degree angles and I'm sitting here hoping the roof withstands the 70 mile per hour gusts. If I disappear its because I've won the lottery and moved to somewhere with less wind and rain and more sunshine

 

I won't sleep with this racket!

 

I know, I hate how it almost screams at you and then dies! Only to to scream again moments later!

 

Was really windy over night.
Some of my pots blew over.

 

Windy miller has milled alot of corn last night

 

Im hoping for the big storm to come along and blow down my next door neighbours towering trees. Theyre leaning nicely his way and part rotted so should come down with a good blast

 

I've had a few things blown around. I'm hoping the blowaway is going to stay put. I was hoping it would see out this summer

 

It's been rather scary under the garden gazebo on the patio.

 

Was extremely windy here on the Fens too, worst around 4-6am, still blowing hard. Pots blown over and a mature Skimmia in a massive pot was somehow blown across the driveway. Could be worse ...

Too windy this morning so they closed the Dartford crossing and the tailback then works its way round the M25. Deep joy.

 

Oh dear! Hope it's cleared and back to business as usual come Thursday

 

Spare a thought for this perfect parent, at least we get to warm up indoors!
