I have moved 2 bay shrubs from back garden to the front garden I have watered them and checked them after a few days it is now 3-4weeks and they are very sick, items is there a reason for this and can I revive them.

I haven't tried moving bay before - maybe it just doesn't like to be disturbed. I'd take a few cuttings now - just incase it gives up altogether.

Hello, nathan7 and welcome to GC.

I brought my bay from the IoW and it acclimatised well here even though I have put it in a pot.

How are they sick? Wilting? Yellow leaves? Sticky leaves? Did you dig up a good rootball when you uprooted them? Perhaps if we knew this, someone could help.

Hi Nathan, I don't know what the problem could be. We moved 2 bays twice in about 6 months and they are growing well. Could it be that you have overwatered them? Is the soil different in the front garden? My book says that they like "moist, fertile but well drained soil in full sun or partial shade sheltered from cold drying winds" Does this help? Like LOL says how are they sick?
