hi everyone, today i noticed that my dear old faithful bay tree had thrown up a sucker. ive tried taking cuttings from the tree a few times, all of which died and im desperate to get some new life from it.

would treating the sucker as a cutting be successful? or am i barking up the wrong tree (pun intended :WINK1:).

i would be grateful for any advice.

cheers, i treated it as a cutting and i wouldnt say that its dead yet. on the surface it withered within a day. and now, a week later it looks like a lost cause. But, its beginning to root!

how do i make another bay tree from this? pleeeeeaaasssee.
