    When is the right time to take cuttings from a Bay Tree ?
    What is the procedure, I have cold frames and a polytunnel to keep them in, is now the right time ?

    Most trees/plants take better in Spring or Summer when they are in thejr growing phase they release growth hormones at this time which aids propagation

    my bay tree is out in all weathers and I take soft wood cuttings in the spring and autum. you dont have to leave cuttings in a greenhouse.
