This is a daytime programme and has aired 4 out of 10 so far. The "Instant Gardener" is given 10 hours to transform a garden. Not long *at all*! So far, it has proved an interesting watch with some good tips.

The first episode was to transform a garden which was prone to waterlogging.
(I did chuckle because the gardener copied my idea with trellis across the whole garden :heehee: ) Anyway, as well as tips given on how to deal with a waterlogged garden, there was plenty of suggestions on which plants will thrive: something I would have appreciated knowing in my previous garden (now, I'm thinking of you here @nFrost ;) )

I did watch the second episode on iPlayer and that is a garden with a very steep slope (a new build too - with all the issues that brings!) and planting suggestions were on a prairie theme (hot, dry). Again some interesting tips if you have a garden with awkward slopes.

The garden designer isn't one I've come across before but he is an interesting character and seems very knowledgeable.

Not certain how long iPlayer keeps their programmes available, but, if you would like to catch up, or are interested in seeing the series, here is a link to the first episode:
