    Great event tonight :dbgrtmb: We live just under Ashurst beacon , so we should see it lit tonight to signal the next beacon Rivington Pike . I think the most spectacular beacon chain is Hadrians Wall, they can signal coast to coast in less than 3 minutes along the ridge.

        How many are being lit in the UK does anyone know? it says 4000 in the commonwealth but on the map it only looks like there are a few :scratch: They all seem to be around the coast too...
