Ziggy won't mind the wind. He'll probably find a way of using it to power the central heating.

    None taken :lollol:

Beans, beans god for your heart,

The more you eat, the more you fart.

The more you fart, the better you'll feel,

So we'll have beans for every meal.

Or so I learned as school.:hehe:

Maybe I could get one of these,

You'd have to be careful not to let the contents of the backpack escape all at once, though. Mrs Ziggy certainly wouldn't be doing much housework after a dose of that.

Mrs Ziggys only trip off the sofa today was to put some stuff in the washing machine, rest of the day has been spent shouting at the kids & playing eudemons on line, with the other teenagers around the world.

Anyway, I didn't bump this thread to moan about the mrs.:dh:

Made a huge bean salad with butter beans & the red mullet beans and was amazed how nutty the mullets were.:thumb: Made a real difference to the taste & texture.

Been (excuse the pun) going thru the old threads & pulling out a list of blight resistant toms & stuff, will post the results when i've finished.

Oh, by the way, despite the beans & a bucket of sugar coated fennel seeds, the wind factor was only up about 2% :D:hehe:

Looks like a fish, tastes like a nut, reminds me of an ex girlfriend.

Will be growing the red mullet beans this year, if I stop posting, then the pods were toxic.

Ziggy, The fennel seeds will have counteracted the windy mullet beans.:D
Similarly, when I cook a chick pea curry I always start the curry with ajma seeds in hot oil (see linky: http://www.tarladalal.com/glossary-carom-seeds-266i )
This is because they counteract the 'windyness' of chick peas :D otherwise you'd get enough propulsion to travel forwards without the use of a motor.

    Thats interesting Shobhna,

Bit like my Dogfish & Jerusalem Artichoke fish cakes then.

    Ajma seeds -Trachyspermum copticum.

I didn't do latin at school but i'm a bit worried about that first word !
