Beckham Baby

The Beckhams have named their baby daughter 'Harper Seven', presumably in honour of Harper's Bazaar and Blake's Seven.

 

Didn't David wear a no 7 shirt when he played for Man Utd.? Somebody said it was because she was born at half past seven!!!!???

 

In which case it could have been worse, I suppose. She could have been named: 'Harper Half Past Seven'.

 

Is she trying to disguise the fact her and David are as boring as sin with these outrageous baby names?

The Beckham brood is beginning to sound a little like an alternative shipping forecast.

Brooklyn, Romeo, Cruz, Harper Seven: Slight or moderate. Showers. Good.

 

Victoria Beckham gave birth to her baby today, at a weight of 7 pounds 8 ounces.

The baby's weight is yet to be confirmed.

 

I think celebrities are in competition with each other to see who can come up with the most ridiculous names for their offspring. I feel sorry for the kids, they've got to live with it!

Having said that although my own names are fairly normal, I still haven't thanked my parents for what they saddled me with. :gaagh:

 

I would not be worried about it, They could call me Jack McHammocklashing :-)if they want, when Mummy and Daddy have several millions in the bank

I wonder how Victoria would have felt if she had been called that name.
Most likely as time goes by the 'Seven' will be dropped, but I don't feel Harper is a feminine name for a little girl that I assume will be dressed in frilly dresses and fancy shoes.
At least Baby and Mum are ok, and all went well.
