I'm sorry but I can't remember who it was, but, someone the other day was asking about Petunia plugs for growing on.

I've just had my Brookside Nurseries Catalogue, this is just a few samples from it......

    Petunia "Frenzy " 350 plugs
    £29-99

    Antirrhinum " Sonnet " 350 plugs
    £29-99

    Dahlia "Figaro " 350 plugs
    £34-99

    Busy Lizzie " Desire " 350 plugs
    £31-99

    Lobelia ( various ) 350 plugs
    £25-99

    Pansy "Matrix " 350 plugs
    £29-99

    Surfinia ( various ) 84 plugs
    £34-99

There are about another 30 + different plants on the list.

There are also vegetables such as....

    Brussel Sprout F1 " Bosworth " 230 plugs
    £29-99

    Cabbage ( various ) 230 plugs
    £29-99

Lettuce " All Year Around " 230 plugs
    £29-99

They also have a good mix of other plants from Fuchsias, Geraniums ( Pelargoniums ), Foliage plants right through to Perennials at around £5.99 for 5 large plugs, or £5-99 for 40 plugs.

The phone number for a catalogue is
    0333 335 6789

    Hope I've helped :)

It looks rather like Ipomea batatas which is the sweet potato. It would be interesting to see if it has a tuber of any description at the end of the season.

I have their latest catalogue but haven't yet bought anything from Brookside.
It's great to know their plants are good quality.
I might try some of their veg plug plants as this year will be my first time growing my own veg.
Think I'm a bit of a kleptomaniac with packets of flower seeds though...I've got hundreds ! :lunapic 130165696578242 5:
I'll be starting to sow things soon because the outside temperatures here (S.E. Scotland) are just starting to pick up. Today, for example, it is 12*C outside right now but with a feel of 6*C due to wind chill. Overnight, temps here will drop down to 5*C by 1am (-4*C with windchill). (accuweather.com).
I don't have a heated greenhouse yet so will have to start seeds on a sunny windowsill then move them out to my little polytunnel. :spinning:

The Brookside order arrived today bang on the delivery time I requested . Once again the max plugs are top quality and bursting with health . I'll just let them air tonight and pot them on tomorrow :blue thumb:

Got mine yesterday from Brookside Nurseries, a day after their email saying it had been dispatched. They are very healthy looking large plugs just like the previous years:

Those plugs look very good. I'll definitely order some from there :dbgrtmb:
