Beechgrove is back on Thursday 4th April at 19.30 on BBC2 Scotland and on Sunday 7th April on BBC2 network at 9.30am.

Missed both of them :( Off to see if I can get the Sunday BBC2 one on On Demand iPlayer Techno Wizardry :)

So glad its back soon I have been watching it for years as I have Sky, its the best gardening program on TV , they do lots of trials with so many different plants and you have the results as the year goes on.

I have watched it on iplayer for a few years,I was only searching for it a few weeks ago as I thought it might be starting.

It does seem to deal with basics much better than G.W. as we don`t all have huge gardens with room for huge expensive plants.

              Hi Pam

GW is a magazine program , thats the biggest difference.

Great to see this programme has reached south of the border. Lots of knowledgable presenters and if they can do it in Scotland there's hope for us down here.

It was fun to see the flashback to the first programme 32 years ago. It made me think of myself all those years ago and the gardening mistakes I made. I'm still making them but different ones. It's a pity we don't inherit the learning of our forefathers :)

Beechgrove will be back on Thursday 3rd April BBC2 Scotland, and Sunday 6th April BBC2.

That is presumably before The Vote - so we are safe to enjoy it Down South for a bit longer? :heehee:

Had a search of the planner and there are 2 single one off programmes, Sunday 6th ,Hidcote a garden for all seasons, and the wonder of weeds, both repeated through the day.
