I watch it/record it every week. Different to GW but both are great. :)
Watched Love your Garden tonight......ok, bit sentimental but lovely prog. Pure escapism and Alan Titchmarsh and his colleagues sparkle :)

Watch it ...... ;) I`m a Monty Don fan. I like watching Beechgrove, and catch up as often as possible though.

We find GW a lot less practical. BG runs trials on the veg which GW seem to ignore not to mention we feel Monty is talking down all the time, but that's our perception.

Hi @Poly Hive yes he can sound like that but its just that he has bounds of self confidence ,and if you have lots of confidence it can sometime on rare occasions almost border on appearing arrogant but he is a lovely man to talk to( :heehee:

Monty has grown on me........ok, he makes mistakes as we all do but I like his adventurous style and his exuberance.
I think we will miss him when he does hang up his secateurs on GW

I quite like beechgrove, I'm not trying to belittle it when I say it's a bit how garden programmes used to be, we still need that kind of programme.

Gardeners World has gone a bit OTT and doesn't often speak to the little bloke anymore, Monty has grown a bit on me also, but the programme is how I found the RHS to be, a bit elitest.

I gave up being a member of the RHS some years ago.;)

That's interesting. I do know he has battled depression for most of his adult life and even suffers from S.A.D. I think he would be charmed to think he presents as having bounds of self confidence. I like him as a presenter
