    A relative of mine was doing some voluntary work recently. He was helping to do up a community centre in North London. It had started to keep a few bees. However, disaster struck after it was given a colony which had been living south of the river. The South London bees were aggressive, territorial and into mindless violence ...

    Tsk! South London isn't all bad!

    Actually, I read that honey produced from bees kept in towns and cities tastes better as the bees have a wider range/species of flowers and plants to gather nectar from, due to the town gardens. Whereas in the countryside, flowers tend to be more restricted to only a few species.
