Bees.

This past week I have noticed about 25 Bees dropping from the air struggling to fly and dying off on the ground..
Could this be caused by the Crazy weather we have been having up in my area in Scotland?.
It,s been very warm, then heavy rains,then cold winds blowing,all on the same day.
I've never seen this before in all my years in Gardening. .

 

Could well be the cold weather, but bumble bees only live for a couple of months.
Our six and a half year old grand-daughter found one semi-comatose on the the lawn today and decided to make a home for bees. Nice to see a youngster so concerned.
