Beetroot

    This morning early popped into local village to pick up some veggies for the week end, Local carrots with the green on and some very nice bunched beetroot, I get to the till large girl with a lollipop stick sticking out of her mouth took the beetroot out of the basket looked at me and said...What are these? I said what do you mean what are these? I got the vacant its an old person look I told her then she enquired how much are they ? These kids are the future dosn't it make you shudder.
    Oh the beetroot were delicious made it wothwhile I suppose !

    But that 'child' is a product of the previous generation - :lollol:

    I feel sorry for those that don't get at least one parent that cares enough!

    Luckily they aren't all like that - luckily there are some great kids out there!

    But sadly that scenario is all too common
