Haven't been on in a while and although the garden is maturing nicely not a lot of major Change in the last few months but when I look back over the two years I'm gobsmacked at what we have achieved!! Finally going to tackle the back half of the garden today even though it is piddling down I have loads of topiary I picked up mega cheaply thanks to the local homebase not really knowing anything about plants! And they have to go in before the frosts so today is the big day.... I'm still saving for my paving but I'll have to mark my circles and put in my trees around my plan and back to waiting. So if you could all do a sun dance for me that would be uber appreciated

Thanks lolimac.... I originally planned to make a woody shady fern area but so glad I had to hold off due to finances as two years into living here it's only then I see how I use my garden and what I need rather than what I want :dbgrtmb:

What breed is/are your dog/s? You seem to have a honey coloured one and a chocolate one and they are both stunning!

They are smooth chows and thank you they are stunning :) if only I could get them to walk around my new hedge instead of through it I'd be happy!

Thought I'd update this thread with some new pics... Really feel like we are getting somewhere after two and a half years still some decisions to make but winging it seems to be working so far, can't wait to sit back and enjoy it all
