    can you take cuttings from miniature begonias or bebonia bonfire.

    Hello Nijinski , Begonia Bonfire is a lovely tuberous trailer . You can save the tuber in winter as shown on the video. I actually take all the soil off my tubers and store them wrapped in shredded paper . Don't try splitting the tubers I lost my lovely bonfire this way ! You only do this when the begonia stops , say the first frost , I usually do it early November.
    There are many ways of taking Begonia cuttings , you can even use the leaf in some cases. I have never taken cutting so don't know how and when to do this ,a quick Google may help you.

      Best time to take begonia cuttings is next spring, once the tubers awake and push out new shoots you can carefully take two or three off each plant, don't take too many until the parent has really established itself otherwise you'll exhaust it and you can lose the main plant.
