begonias

hi everybody

i have just potted on some begonia plugs , i seem to recall reading somewhere that you pinch out the growing tip to encourage them to bush up. but cant find the source, can anyone advice me on this issue.

Rpdiy, if it`s Begonia sempervirens pinching out is not neccessary.
